Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a groundbreaking technology that imitates human thinking to solve problems and can potentially reshape the world. In classrooms, it is transforming education by providing personalised learning where AI can act as virtual tutors. In healthcare, it could help doctors find cures faster and keep people healthy longer. AI is expected to change how future generations live, learn, and work in major ways. Many tasks, like driving or sorting data, will be done by machines, making life more convenient and safe.
However, this shift means the jobs of the future will look very different. Young people will need to focus more on creativity and problem-solving rather than routine tasks. One example of this is the brand, Oracle. As of early April 2026, technology giant Oracle has reportedly fired approximately 30,000 employees globally. This is a strategic shift where AI and automation are replacing labor, with reports indicating nearly 50% of its workforce in India was affected by rapid, AI-driven automation. Future generations will likely face a AI driven employment model. This necessitates that young professionals focus on skills that AI cannot easily replicate, such as advanced strategic thinking rather than routine administrative or coding tasks.
Ultimately, while AI has the potential to solve global problems, its long-term impact will depend on humans establishing ethical rules that prioritise human well-being.
